All About Deborah
Hi, my name is Deborah and I am a work-from-home mom to my precious daughter, Kira Diane (and soon to be son, Declan: due July 19th). Rachel, one of the other owners, is my mom. She is/was a true super mom (now extra super Grandma) and one of my best friends! I love her so much and treasure our friendship! I am blessed to not be a single mom myself but I am very excited to home-school my daughter. I feel that I can give her a different and wonderful experience by teaching her at home and I look forward to each new moment, day, week, and year with her!
As for my family, I am prior Air Force and my husband is active duty, meaning that every 3-5 years we move. I always try to find places to take my daughter in each new city so she can play with other children. I found this place where we currently live that is really nice! It is an indoor playground for children 6 and under. It was a very small and intimate type setting and we loved it! So my mom, aunt and I all decided to open our own indoor playground in Bastrop, TX. And that is how RC’s Playhouse was conceived.
I am so blessed to be able to open a business with two of the most wonderful ladies on earth: my mom, Rachel, and my aunt, Christina (whom I call Mama Christina because she helped to raise me and was like another mother to me). These two sisters are lifelong best friends and two of the most wonderful women in the world.
I would like to say a special thank you to my grandpa, James, for being my sounding board, my voice of reason, and my friend. And another special thank you to someone I call Mama Esther! She has, and always will be, a big part of my life and I thank her so much for always being there.
We love being a part of the Bastrop community! We love having a place for all the little (and medium) ones to come and play! And, we are so looking forward to meeting each and every one of you, so come on in and say hello!
P.S. I'm also a huge wolf fan, as you can tell by my background image! I love to visit local wolf preserves and interact up close and personal with these magnificent creatures!
