Hi, my name is Deborah and I am a work-from-home mom to my precious daughter, Kira and rambunctious son, Declan. Rachel, one of the other owners, is my mom. She is a true super mom (now super Grandma) and is one of my best friends! I love her so much and treasure our friendship! I am blessed to not be a single mom myself but I am very excited to be able to be the best mom I can be to my two little ones. I do my best to give them a different and wonderful experience by being able to stay home with them and I look forward to each new moment, day, week, and year with them!

I am prior Air Force and my husband is active duty (prior AF, now in the SF), meaning that every few years we move. I always try to find places to take my littles in each new city so they can play with other children. Back in 2017, I found this place where we used to live that was really nice! It was an indoor playground for children 6 and under. It was a very small and intimate type setting and we loved it! So my mom, aunt, and I all decided to open our own indoor playground right here in Bastrop, TX. And that is how RC’s Playhouse was conceived. 

I am so blessed to be able to run this business with two of the most wonderful ladies on earth: my mom, Rachel, and my aunt, Christina (whom I call Mama Christina because she helped to raise me and was like another mother to me). These two sisters are lifelong best friends and two of the most wonderful women in the world. 

I would like to say a special thank you to my grandpa, James, for being my sounding board, my voice of reason, and my friend. And another special thank you to someone I call Mama Esther! She has, and always will be, a big part of my life and I thank her so much for always being there.
